RDO developed an integrated sales incentive program to encourage the sales of electric
heat pumps in residential housing units in the Southeastern United States. Producers, dealers
and distributors of manufactured homes were motivated to recommend and install electric
heat pumps in each home they sold.
Program tactics included introductory sales meetings, a rewards program and an entertaining
and informative training system to help improve heat pump product knowledge with these
important business partners. The program was so successful that the client asked RDO to
develop a similar program for the HVAC dealers working in the client's service areas.
