It's no secret that sales of bottled water have skyrocketed over the past several years. What a business; bottling water and then selling it for more than soda pop at as many different retail locations as you can imagine. Well, that's a big part of what makes Minneapolis- based Premium Waters, Inc. so successful. They are one of the largest bottlers of spring water in the U.S. And in the Upper Midwest, their Chippewa Spring Water brand has been a major business asset for years.

When Premium Waters determined that their Chippewa packaging only appealed to women, they asked RDO to help them refine the brand's packaging -- in a way that improved its legibility and centered its gender appeal. RDO worked with its design allies to produce over 16 different label design refinement options. From there, we were able to arrive at a new label design that leveraged the brand's key visual assets and distinctions and positioned the brand for future success.
