A retail fixture for men's clothing in the 50th & France shopping area of Edina, Minnesota since 1948, Belleson's
had worked hard to update its clothing lines to appeal to a broader range of businessmen who want top quality
clothing for business and casual wear. The new owner rebuilt the store's offerings from top to bottom, but had
not promoted the changes to his loyal clientele or to potential shoppers in his general trading area.
RDO was asked to develop a marketing campaign that promoted the new Belleson's -- in an effort to change
the consumer's perception of the store and the clothing it offered. The result: a post-card and print advertising
program that communicated the promise of the new Belleson's. The holiday season post card and special offer
shown here was the most successful sales promotion they have ever run.
